Along with her knowledge she has patience and she's very thorough. I'm sure my situation was different because I purchased on a new subdivision. The entire process took about 1 year but she not only hung in there with me, she spoke up on my behalf. She did everything in her power to make my experience a great one. I knew that I was interested in buying a property, but one of my hesitations about buying in Seattle was my lack of local knowledge (especially nerve-wracking as I was also a first-time home buyer). A close friend of mine (who is a long-time Seattle resident, 20+ years) recommended Jackie, referencing Jackie’s track record of success in helping both new residents and Seattle-natives. Jackie’s local knowledge was apparent in our first meeting – she spent over 1 hour walking me through the buying process and explaining the unique qualities of the Seattle real estate market. Once we started looking at properties, Jackie’s local knowledge was even more useful, as she steered me away from any areas/properties that were poorly-constructed, near noisy streets, or over-priced/poor values – all details that would be hard to determine without deep local expertise.2.) Patience: This is a quality where Jackie really sets herself apart from other agents – she takes the time to understand a buyer’s unique needs and educate, rather than pressuring into a transaction. For example, in one of our initial meetings, Jackie showed me 7 properties and drove me around the Seattle area so that I could get a better feel for the different neighborhoods. Furthermore, when I did find a property that I liked, Jackie put no pressure to buy – she left the decision completely in my hands. 3.) Responsiveness: Jackie’s communication was timely and adapted to my schedule/needs (e.g. voicemail, phone calls, text, and email). This was especially important to having a smooth closing - we were able to close on time with no delays.Writing this review from my townhouse (which I love!), I would recommend Jackie without hesitation to anyone who is looking to buy or sell real estate in the Seattle area.
