He answered questions quickly and was well versed in the ins and outs of purchasing a home. He was very honest with us from the start. He was very flexible and accommodating to our crazy schedule. He helped guide us into a home that was truly the best fit for our family. We would have made a few big mistakes in the home buying process without his help. Depoimento: Being a first time home-buyer can be a very intimidating process, but working with a realtor you can trust can really help ease so much of that anxiety. Gary Almeida ended up being that crutch that we could really lean on while going through this process. Gary was always there, on time (actually usually was there waiting for us) for any showings and never left us waiting, and he was very knowledgeable and really helped us ask the right questions about each house we looked at. He was extremely flexible, especially while we had several appointments with contractors to get estimates on things we wanted done before we bought the house, and even though some contractors didn't show up...but Gary was there for each one of those appointments. Once he helped us find "THE" house for us, he was there every step of the way from helping us in how to negotiate price, finding the right lender, home inspector, appraiser and real estate lawyer and walked us through the entire process...step by step. Instead of the home buying process being stressful, Gary really allowed it to be an exciting time for my wife and I.....as it should be! And his help didn't stop after the buying process was complete. A few weeks after we moved in, we lost a check the previous owner wrote us for pre-sale repairs he helped us negotiate, and he was able contact the previous owner for us and get a replacement check. And fast-forward two years after owning the house, he is still helping us by offering to connect us with a piano specialist to come take apart and remove an old upright grand piano the previous owners left us in the basement so that we can convert it to a playroom for our kids. There are so many realtors out there, some are great while others not so much. The home buying process is not something you want to take a chance on just any realtor. Depoimento: Mary Jo and Roger Carlson are good realtors. I think they are a better fit for buyers that have some experience with home buying. For instance, I did not receive clear advice from the Carlsons on the negotiating process with the sellers, regarding concerns about the house we had but a bid in for. Also, the Carlsons only recommended one or two houses for us to look at during the months we were looking. We found all the other houses ourselves. All that being said, the Carlsons always made time to look at homes with us and would squeeze on in at the last minute, if needed. They are friendly and easy to work with.
