Depoimento: After receiving a few referrals for Ms. Obrock, my husband I had met Ms. Obrock in person and were very impressed with her knowledge of the market and the fact that she is a straight shooter. When the time came for us to purchase a second home we did not hesitate to contact her. Even though Ms. Obrock operates in AZ she didn't hesitate to research our area and was able to put us in touch with a colleague in MS who assisted us in purchasing our current home. At any moment of the day we could talk with him--he always takes our calls, thoroughly answers our questions, and he worked his tail off to get us the best price for our home. More than that, we saved $15,000+ in commissions because he doesn't charge the typical 3%+3% --- he only charges 1% and insists the buyer's agent likewise only gets 1%! He's purely into helping people and charging a nominal rate. Charles will be our friend forever.

Depoimento: Joan is the best. We've worked with her twice in the last 7 years and she really stood out from other agents. When we were buying the first time, we dropped two other agents before finding her (the first was very new to the job and the second was completely inattentive.) We found Joan when she was working strictly as a buyers agent. We were first time buyers and she was very thorough. She dug up records on properties from town hall to find out things about a house that even the owners didn't know. She told us the hard truths even when we didn't want to hear them but was also alot of fun to see properties with. She helped us find great inspectors that gave us thorough information on the property and helped us keep perspective on the important things during the overwhelming process of buying a home. Later when we had to sell to move closer to my wife's work, we found that Joan was now working with Masiello as both a buyer and sellers' agent. There was no question that we would work with her again. The selling process is certainly a bigger ordeal than buying, especially if you care about the place you are selling and Joan was a great help with that and patient with us when she needed to be. I work from home, so I met many of the potential buyers' agents during the showings. It is stunning how little attention many agents pay to their clients, the properties they are viewing.. or even care to sit with them at the closing as they sign their life away. Joan was with us every step of the way to make sure we understood what we were nodding to when overloaded by terminology and legalese. Shop around for your agent. I remember the 2nd agent we let go (who couldn't be bothered to remember our names our what we wanted in a home) saying, "this hasn't ever happened to me before, and I've been doing this for over 10 years." That should happen to people who aren't good at what they do. Joan is unassuming, but tack sharp. Perhaps too modest for her own good, because she is not a pushover. You want her on your side.
