Depoimento: When I accepted a position at UAMS I had previously been to Little Rock for a total of about 36 hours. I needed to find a place to live but I didn’t have a lot of time to come back to look and I had no idea where to start. I called The Janet Jones Company and was immediately put on the phone with Deke Whitbeck. Boy did I luck out! I told Deke that I planned to visit for 4 days but that I didn’t really know what I was looking for, I had no knowledge of the area, and I was skeptical that I would have enough time to find a place. To make a long story short, Deke probably showed me more than 50 properties during my first few days in Little Rock and by the end of my trip, I found a great place and made an offer. In the next few months Deke did everything to make sure we could close on time. He met with contractors, inspectors, realtors and others to sort out all the details and communicated everything with me in near real-time. He even went as far as calling the realtor selling my house in Alabama to hash out all the details and make sure everything would go smoothly. As if he hadn’t already done enough, he gave me a place to stay the night before the closing so that I would be able to make it on time. Deke went above and beyond what a typical realtor would do because he is not a typical realtor. He is a hard worker, knowledgeable, attentive, reliable, and a good friend. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home. Thank you, Deke!
